Beginning of a million miles, joys and smiles.

A baby needs to make one,
or lay on his back the rest of his life under the sun.
First step made,
rest of my life on a joy crusade.
Black man oppressed in a light world,
still I do not hate the pearl.
Visions of hate on the big screen,
I refuse to turn that mean.
Others playing the blame game,
I play in my own name,
refuse to do the same.

Second step made,
flipped the coin on the hate parade,
don't live in the past slave trade.
To much hate baggage to carry,
drags me down to weary.
Screw the past crazy realities,
refuse to continue to be a victim of such tradgedies.

How can I trash the past,
make myself an outcast?
Not easy in mind,
turning a mean world blind.
In my head there's a little black child,
playing with a little white child.
A little yellow child,
playing with a little red child.
A little Martian child,
joining all to play and smile.

Then they all make a circle of joy,
refusing to let the mean old adults destroy.
I refuse to grow up,
to this world so mean and corrupt.
But I'm grown,
not out of touch thrown.

My way,
third step in play,
going this way,
for the rest of my life,
forget a stupid world of misery and strife.

In my world there is love and peace,
Long Ranger and Tanto,
I Spy,
and I know why!

We all are of one blood and you are so right, Grady. Besides, Jesus was black..."as black as Kedar's tents and Solomon's curtains." He also was small, deformed and his face badly marred. Would the world knew this, it just might scare the devil right out of those prejudice idiots. Lots of love in Christ~~ Bonnie Q
