I am a Christian, have been all my life.

I hated blacks for a while in highschool, that passed when one became my best friend, but I've never hated Moslems or Jews, or any other race or creed for that matter.

I've never met you, don't know you, we've never broken bread together or drank a glass of wine, but I don't hate you because of the stereotypes that are promoted in our culture. I'm wiser than that!

How can you hate someone you don't know? Besides, I think personally that everyone of differing mindsets, and faiths, have trouble reaching out to others that are different.

Perhaps we are all prejudiced ... but NO! ... how can you hate someone you don't know?

Dear Brother Abdi-Noor I think people who hate people rather than hate bad behavior,evil,etc., don't know the meaning of love. God to me is love no matter how God is approached and love should flow backwards in and through true believers in God. I don't care what religion one belongs to or practices as long as hatered is not a qualifier for membership. Peace, love, blessings and gratitude are wished for you and yours. <Mikii>

There's no Christian breath or Muslim etc; it's breath! The universality of breath, regardless of this or that religion, shows our oneness and bridges us to all life! Imagine if we revered Life! Now that would make God proud!

we hate...Evil surrounds us and we absorb it through hating it...
It is always best to like , love, or at least tolerate, but never to hate. so I appreciate your poem and feel as you do!Just today I felt hatred rise in me for someone whom I think is a fraud and troublemaker. I had to pray to overcome the hatred I felt, for I know it is evil and only breeds more hatred. Eileen

I don't hate non-christians nor anyone because of their choice of faith, but when someone finds I am in actuality Buddhist, boy do I get the bad looks and such so I know where, to a smaller degree, you are coming from...Peace, ed & rufuz (w00f)
