Too many people like this in the world. And it seems that we always come away a little wiser, and a little stronger, but sometimes a little less from the experience.
this describes perfectly the feelings of betrayal that one might have and then also the sublime forgiveness that so few of us are able to find. Like Eileen, I'm keeping this.
I felt sad about this poem and made some changes on it........ at least to end it with peace instead of war. So I added the last few lines to show that the hard feelings of the hurt friend have been soothed by angels of love. The devil is gone and peace has dawned upon the mind of the man who felt so bitterly about the behaviour of his friend. Thanks
