Hallelujah
This month is over
No more flights
Across the nation
No more smoke filled hotel rooms
No more suitcases
To pack and unpack
No more lines at
Security check points
Just one time zone
To get accustomed to
Every night
In my comfy bed
I only have to work
From dawn to dusk
I get to park my butt
At my desk in a chair
I get to work the phones
And the keyboard too
I get to cook every night
For just two
So from now on
At least til May
Saturday & Sundays
Are mine all mine

So this goes out to all my denite friends
I’m back
I'm home
And I want to thank
Those patient few
Who
Stuck with me
Through this hellacious month
Of travels galore
Not to mention time spent
Attending night school
As my whipped cream and cherry top
Of extreme busy-ness
