Too Intense to Title

Feel the lust
Feel the love
Feel the power
In my ivory tower

Lost
Alone
On my own
No direction home
Not knowing how to love
Other ones anymore
Tears hit the floor
Dripping insanity
Direct drive
Powers away from me
I can’t seem to make
Sense of what you want
Thinking maybe
It is time to
Love you less
Or else
I might get
Further depressed

I’m trying so hard
To own this space
Inside my head
Knowing I belong mostly to
You
You belong mostly to
Me
Except when you are
Wild and free
Loving life’s pleasures
Oh there are so many treasures
Out there for you to find
But I’m still here
Your lucky gold mine
Right where you want me to be
No matter how much I try
We both know I can’t flee
Your loves grasp
Like a locket of purity
In a clasp
Of things only
You and I can know of
Like what is above
Is in us
You
And
Me

This is intense. I think it'd make a great song. Powerful and gripping to the very end this poem is.

This was so well done, I loved the emotional content of this lovely poem, these words:

Thinking maybe
It is time to
Love you less
Or else
I might get
Further depressed

just spoke to my heart so deeply,

Excellent poem!

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, and so do you! Sara, you and your alter ego, Super Girl are always welcome as far as I'm concerned. Great write, and it is too intense to title.
