I Will Find a Way

Inside of me lives a will to heal
All of the souls seeking Gods meal
Of serenity and salvation
Reaching up to the skies with adoration.
As they stand gazing wondering where does it all end
I find myself here with a conviction I must defend.
To offer my heart to the damned
Happiness shredded like a reprimand.
They live with memories of vileness
That some often feel is of no consequence.
Whatever you think they are just like you and me.
Wishing with all their heart for some other destiny.
So here my friend take the words I write
Wrap them around your soul as we fight.
Tomorrow is a complete unknown
Perhaps you or I will throw a stone
Into those waters draped in blindness
Reaching out to all with utter kindness.
