In memorium; to my son, Doug

Hauntingly . . . your voice streams--
now as then--as memories replay.
You’re alive in my dreams!
“Mommy, I love you.” Sweetly you say;
tears cascade anew as your voice streams.
I am their bed by choice!
I love how your voice streams,
trickles beside my tears.
I pray that it’s no dream
‘cause love how your smile beams . . .
as ever your voice streams
so casually . . . haunting me.

Hauntingly . . . your voice streams
trickles through my veins, surrounds my heart . . .
our laughter is in reams.
Soothingly enveloped in linked arms,
enraptured of loves’ charms,
wade in streams of your voice
. . . casually haunting me.
I love how your voice streams,
trickles beside my tears.
I pray that it’s no dream
‘cause love how your smile beams . . .
as ever your voice streams
so casually . . . haunting me.
