Everyone is someone special and has something to share.
I get something special
from everyone I meet
It used to be a whistle
that make me feel quite neat.
Perhaps it's idle laughter
(but laughing is a treat).
Some folks enlighten dark times,
share their bounty, meat.
I get something special
from everyone I meet.
Perhaps it's just a shoulder
to lean on for the 'scares',
or a special 'someone'
mimicking grizzly bears.
In a colorful nature
let's do what others just dare,
cherish something special
with everyone you meet.
I get something special
from everyone I meet.
Some may bring a message
that makes my heart throb, beat.
When I've fallen someone
likely helps me to my feet.
Some share sorrows; others, dreams--
their successes and defeats.
I share my heart and stories
with everyone I meet.
You are someone special . . .
I thank God that we did meet.
