It's said, 'Life is a dream';
be that as it may
let our survive
thrive
so baby ... dream on
don't chase our dreams away
please, baby, dream on
baby dream on
I live for you
please stay ... oh do
baby dream on
don't let love fade away
My dreams turned to dust
in a coffin ... unjust,
yet I can't let you go
as our love light still grows.
If life's dreamt is death too?
Will death go away?
Can we cast it aside?
Please baby ... dream on
don't chase our dreams away
please, baby, dream on
baby dream on
I live for you
please stay ... oh do
baby dream on
don't let love fade away
Our love's not shallow
it's weathered ... quite mellow.
In my heart you're alive ...
perhaps 'life's a dream.
be that as it may
let our survive
thrive
so baby ... dream on
don't chase our dreams away
please, baby, dream on
baby dream on
I gaze heavenly,
light reflects back on me.
Please hear--want you to know
that our love's still aglow.
Please baby ... dream on
don't chase our dreams away
please, baby, dream on
baby dream on
I live for you
please stay ... oh do
baby dream on
don't let love fade away
i love the repetitious theme in this work, it serves to make the point in a different way as the poem progresses...i can see this one performed on stage, in a poetry venue.
A passionate and poignant memoir written by a woman whose life has been guided by the words: "I am here to learn how to love well." The book is a deep examination of relationships, family, motivation, and honoring of the Self.
Rosetta was born in 1909 as the youngest of ten children. The family had more laughter than money and neighbors would knock on their door to ask, "Can we come in and laugh, too?"
