SUB-ROSA BUZZ
or
A WHISPER MEANT TO SHARE

Once sweet scent was whispered
From the flowers to the breeze
Who wouldn't keep a secret
And passed it to the trees

Nature has her tattle tales
And there amongst the leaves
Sweet blossoms filled with nectar
Were buzzed by busy

The bees flew to a meadow
Where clover mixed with weeds
And dropped a word of pollen
Upon some quiet seeds

The seeds fell to the ground
Then mixed with earth and rain
To grow into a flower
With scented, sweet refrain

The scent became a song
That vined from earth to air
Verdant, sweet and strong

MMMMM

A whisper meant to share!

This beeautiful nature write could be read as an analogy of the "seedy" side of human nature but I'll stick with it's sweet essence, Anita. Bless those sticky little bums. Would make a fantastic children's book! An illustrator would have a "field day" with this. Do consider it...

This is a delight Pax.
Your multi-faceted creativity never ceases to amaze me!

The reading of this poem, I am convinced, would please small chilren and even the most jaded of the philosophical brain burners.

What a beautiful little story of paths that start and all have there fruition. Too many man-made paths find their ends in destruction, but the path you have shared in this poem is divinely made.

This just couldn't be any more perfect, Anita. Beautiful flow, excellent images, exceptional and unforced rhyme. Do I love it??? You just gotta know that I do. A keeper to bring a smile on a dreary day. I would say that this would be a wonderful children's poem, but it is far too good to limit to children.
Take care,
Sherry
