... I always imagined the rain falling upwards in Australia, when I was young. But then, I always wanted to turn my house upside down and walk around on the ceilings, too. This makes perfect sense to me, Anita, but then I AM left-handed... and reckon my brain must be on the soles of my feet. That might explain a lot! :)) So pleased your baby is returning safe and sound this week! I can't imagine how you must be feeling. To experience a child going away to war is not highest on my mother's wishlist... nor is hearing how my son was nearly kidnapped by arms' smugglers up in the Drakensburg mountains when he was there recently... But there's only so much you can put in a poem! :)) xx
