A prayer for world peace on the road of creation
Oh Creator, help me on the path of creation. Help me love those around me, forgive those who hurt me, bring light and love in the world to all sentient beings. Let the light of the creator come to those who hurt us and help them see the path of creation and peace. May the lives of innocent men, woman, and children be saved from political and religious quarrels. May spirit rather than religion prevail, may the dogma of ancient rivalries dissolve into cooperation and love, may saving the earth, animals, habitats, be our prayer.

TORN TO SHREDS

As I watch the coverage of the war
Inside I feel...helpless and torn
When told of reasons for this attack
Of crimes committed, by Saddam in Iraq

To standby helpless, in agonized alarm
As the conflicts heighten, due to hidden arms
Its a Catch 22, that we find ourselves in
To abase our humanity, thru strangled chagrin

I had no idea of the horrors he had done
To transcend the devil, in evil this one
I feel for his people, their pain, now my own
Yet to our bombs falling, I cry and atone

The fighting forces of Operation Liberty
Are the sons, and daughters of you and of me
Away from home, beneath desert stars
Souls now tattooed by vicious war scars

PAX PAX PAX PAX PAX PAX PAX PAX PAX PAX

I am a dove, a moderate democrat, and a Marine mom. I love my country, yet am so depressed by the actions of our president....I wish that A-hole Osama, had left everything alone, and not opened up this can of worms. This whole thing makes me sick!! And if we could run our cars etc, on sea water or some other methods.....would we even be there at all??????
