Worldwide there are hated people who are being forced to evacuate or die. Let us hope that in the future we can find a way to end this madness.

Genocide

Demonize your enemy,
give them no place to hide.
Speak of them in epithets,
with god on your side.

They haven't a right,
to occupy this earth.
They're nothing but scum,
that way from birth.

They occupy our land,
without a birthright,
we must eradicate them,
give them no light.

Make their days nightmare,
they are not like us.
Make their nights fearful,
they've no right to fuss.

Our weapons are lethal,
our weapons are clean.
We kill them with precision,
let them know we are mean.

Poison them in public.
Gas them in the street.
Spray them with bullets.
Give them nothing to eat.

We are the chosen ones.
We have the might.
This land is our land.
For you, it's good night.

Your words are powerful and mirror the horrible events polluting our country. Thank you for your voice.

"Genocide" is a true picture of today's reality. Every word here counts, and every stanza sings asking for reasoning and decence.

A poem that rings the bells of the doors of our intelligence.

As long as governments and religious leaders function in accordance with the daily prescribed rules of ERIS and ARES, PLUTO will be working full time, enjoying the smell of the holocaust.

I see the scornful smiles of the Indifferent Leaders of DISGRACE and
DEALERS OF DEATH; and they are the MAIN TERRORISTS of the Planet Earth, the Manufactures of Weapons that control the FIVE PERMANENT SEATS OF THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL. Formally known as "The Holy Tribunal of the Inquisition.

Until we understand that mankind is the Human Race, we will never be able to say "NO" to this increasing lack of Justice.

Much gratitude to the courageous author of "Genocide".

The twenty-first of March is The International Poetry Day, and this posting makes a great gift for Mother Poet.

In reverent appreciation,

A scary and potent write. The world is infested with extremism, false authorities and blind-hearted idiosy!

Your words resound within!

Wishing you an abundance of creativity!

With respect and smiles galore...

These sorts of realities are knives and deep wounds to my soul. 'Makes me think of the song, "Easy To Be Hard", from "Hair". It's gotten worse. Powerful words, Ron.

Love ya!

Your poem gave me the chills. It accurately shows how people are brainwashed to believe that their cause is the true one and no one else's. The Crusades. Hitler's reign. They are all examples of humanity's herd mentality.

Nothing will ever change...it was like this back when Hitler was around, and now we got others that are just as murderous. The only way to end humanities need to kill those that are supposedly inferior, will be a total war to end humanity altogether...-e-

As long as there are dictators and mad men ruling over countries and the unfortunate, unsuspecting citizenry, well this is what the result will always be....

Very good poetic points Ron! "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" seems to be this backward way of thinking that will simply not go away. If we all succumb to that way of thinking, in the end, we will all be blind and toothless! Amen!

This is simply excellent. A sad commentary of the world we live in. With all of the fear mongering being spread in our own country today, I wonder how close we are to going down that same path.

Actually, the Assad family and its titular leader Basher, go around mouthing pieties, invoking the name of God and the name of the terrorists that have t he audacity to disagree with them and their right to control the country and dominate (subjugate) the people. There is no moral measure to place these people on/ You have attempted to do what is well nigh impossible: get inside these people's heads. They may think it is their land, but they will eventually find out whose land it is.

After reading your poem, I re-watched "Jane", the Goodall special on National Geographic, noting how basic love can be and how much there is still to learn from primitive surroundings. But... perhaps that kind of love train left the station far too long ago for those who remain destined to ignore travesties such as Syria and Africa genocides, and instead, tap into their compulsion to dictate and control others at any cost.
