Beginning to surface, emotions are high,
Pen and paper, lay quiet in mourn.
Inspired by feeling, a vision, a sight,
Heart, leading hand to perform.

Words spilling onto white paper,
Forming sentence, in lyrical verse.
Line after line, keeping in time,
Heart to hand, to the whole universe.

Right from the heart, where poets find pain,
Translated memories unfurl.
Right from the heart, where poets find love,
Reaching past external worlds.


Right from the heart, where poets find joy,
Sharing their gifts to impart,
True beauty, in its written form,
From poets who “write from the heart”.
