~ Bona Fide Love ~

My love is like no other love, I’ve ever known before.
It matters not the past, nor what I’ve done.
His caring goes beyond a plain old ordinary love,
His sincere dedication is for me, his only one.

Sympathetic to my woes, when in the down and outs,
With a gentleness I’ve never felt before.
Mere words are nonexistent; a simple gaze tells all,
An invisible understanding, an invisible repore.

Our love affair is Bona Fide, from now until the end,
In all the ways, in all the days we pass.
Respect and admiration in the eyes of his and mine,
No doubts our bond is strong enough to last.

Each day with him is special, no matter what we do,
His unpretentious candor is divine.
I pledge my love, my caring, for all of his tomorrows,
Lovingly repaying, my devoted canine.
