a sliver of sun, sparkles on a leaf, glossy with ripeness. a tui calls somewhere on a day bright with gold. and I cannot help think that bees can probe into the hearts of flowers and drink of the nectar so joyously given.
but alas, alas, humans. we lack the courage to drink deep of life, so maddeningly sweet. we settle for the petals, that gossamer thin surface of things. while treasure lies within and life flows by un-drunk.
