There’s a man whose surname is Arrogance;
His name is Greed, by alias he is Dishonest.
There is not a mote of understanding in him;
In all respects he is disliked by others.
Death he treats as the bitter root of gold-thread;
Life he loves tenderly, like sweetness of molasses.
It seems he has not stopped eating fish;
In gorging meat, all the more, he never gets his fill.
