I agree, that you will never see a six petal clover. While examining the flower of the red clover in my youth and smelling its exquisite sweet scent that the cows love so well, I noted that there were probably 50 petals on each flower. And, another note… Only bumblebees have tongues long enough to pollinate the long petals in red clover.
I have found four-leaf clovers, but not true love. This morning, while watching very large clover emerge from dead leaves in my flower bed winter, I looked for four leaves, but saw none.
You've "never seen it beat" and you never will. Now the four-leaf clover, that's something to think about. The Irish says it brings good luck to find one.
