We all know the feelings express in this short expressive poem. Good one for hot weather. This is the kind of weather we're suppose to have today here in Ohio.

It sounds lovely...I like summer..but not
when it is scalding...just put some ice cubes

Zenith...lol...it be nasty hot down here in SoCal also...and of course, we have the damned fires beginning already...one of the down sides to CA weather...there is no lead in to seasonal changes...one day, it be chilly, the next, blazing.
Excellent imagery here...composition is good, considering the subject, it is like a bright, hot coal in a camp fire.
