 Whatever it is that you say you will do,

May precisely be what you will never do.

Whatever promise you may profess to keep,

When broken will make so many others weep.

The undying love that you say you will offer,

May be the last emotion in your meager coffer.

Whatever lie you unleash as your truth be told,

May leave you with nothing in your hand to hold.

Even your presumed charity reveals how you cheat,

A pseudo piety that allows you millions to reap.

The faint praise a flattery that all modesty steals,

Shows all the hollow emptiness your heart reveals.

Beware the day, the minute, the hour, all on borrow,

Your fake words will boomerang, soon, if not tomorrow.
