It's the rainy season here and the drops pelt hard; I have planted crops of rice in my back yard. Take a boat, not the bus, If you're heading to the mall. Batten down the hatches; They're calling for a squall. Bayous are watery with crawdads and mosquitos. Catch us some; I'll roll up fresh urban burritos.
Now that looks mean. Such visual pictures you paint with your words. Sounds like you know just what to do though, stay in and eat! Mind you, living in England, I know a thing or two about rain. It always happens when I have just done my hair and need to go out. Wonder if the creatures of the rain forest will move to your neighbourhood once their home has been destroyed.
