NO - I hadn't been drinking!!
Gonna Sleep Till I Wake! Woke up this morning Sort of fell out of bed lurched ‘cross the room And the wall banged my head! Everythings’ wrong And nuthin’ ain’t right Got a cramp in my leg And my foots’ gone to sleep Daren’t try the stairs Can’t see worth a darn With eyelids that feel As heavy as lead. My brain is in fog A cotton wool cloud Thank heaven the bathroom Ain’t moved since last night. I’m off back to bed now Gonna sleep till I wake And hope that my world Will soon be put right. Oh I know just what you mean! I had to sleep with the window shut last night....yea in this heat too, as the flippen magpies start squabling at 4am, then the frogs and toads start ranting and raving in my pond and if that isnt enough a blackbird has adopted me and sings the same tone over and over again on my window sill.........dont you love nature..heheheh
Great comical write Jackie.....had visions of you stumbling around the bedroom. NOW GET UP YOU LAZY BONES..LOL
