Jerry – On The Slant!

It seems that Jerry feels quite lopsided
With a definite tilt to his stance,
He blames it on his computer,
It could not possibly happen by chance!

Jerry claimed to have mislaid his wife Dottie
And he’s admitted to feeling quite muddled,
I wonder if it’s due to the bottle –
His brain being so obviously befuddled!

When I wrote about Old Jack Frost
Jerry mentioned a ‘Hot Buttered Rum!’
But in the heat of Louisiana
I don’t think it agreed with his tum!

Now, I wonder if Dottie’s been found yet
Or is he still searching hard for his wife,
If he ‘s forgotten just where he put her
I would not give two cents for his life!

Perhaps we need to send for young Bailey
If Pamela can spare her a while,
To help Jerry find his dear lady
And hope that on him she’ll still smile!

Now Jerry, the moral of this short story
Is to stay well away from the Rum
With your head and feet on the vertical
Your brain might not feel quite so numb!
