I'm not sure when my first childhood ended and my second began but if this is any indication, I am well into it!! This poem is dedicated to the Teddy Bears that grace our computer room, especially the two cuddly beanie bears on my printer!!
Beanie Bears Pepe-le-Mint is a green Beanie Bear Who lives on top of my printer; He was lonely and glum His life not much fun With a beanie bag cat for a chum. Beanie bag cat has a permanent smile Because he is tickled pink; When the printer vibrates He anticipates The tingle from toe’ses to pates Now a dainty girl beanie bear Is sitting on top of my printer; She is called ‘Daisy Bloom’ And has dispelled Pepe’s gloom He has dreams of being a bridegroom There’s romance in the air For my two beanie bears; So what could be more right Since it was love at first sight Now they whisper and cuddle all night Beanie bag cat has a very big grin Just like the old Cheshire Cat; He’s hoping one day That love comes his way Till then on my printer he’ll stay! Frankly, the font makes this poem difficult to read. Still, what I've read seems cute enough.
