Mornings of golden sunrises abound beginning quietly, void of any sound save for birds singing in the tree I rush out, anxious to finally be at my chosen spot for the day I joyfully watch the children play with gleeful laughs and squeals chasing the cottony puffs of the daffodils Young ducks glide slowly across the lake's surface of sparkling blue I spy a small squirrel and marvel at how fast it can chew The air is sweetened with honeysuckle, jasmine and rose scents warm and welcome and enticent I smile sadly as I sat on the bench until it's nearly dark relunctant to relinguish this spring day at the park

O dem kooky squirrels! Wit de way dey chew, it be a wonder dey don't start a fire in dem cheeks! I understand your sadness, though. I would also be reluctant to end such a wonderful day. Then again, if you drive really fast, you can enjoy the day all over again. Except you'll probably be in China.
