The Royal Empress..Isn't she a beauty?

Poem Artwork

I fancy myself a woman of style and grace
Mac on my still youthful face
I wear the latest trendy colors
and textures of fine satin and lace
But today I’m incensed all the way up
to my perfectly arched eyebrow
For here, standing before me
All decked out in her purple attire
Flouncing around like she’s the cat’s meow
Some floozy old as dirt, a shameless cow!
Her dress, so fine a shade of violet
and her head adorned with a matching wide hat!
I can’t stand it, I want to look like that!
Her legs long, strong and stout
I stomp my feet in defeat
I yell and I shout
Green with envy, am I
with a pouty lip and a tear in my eye
I look again at this magnificent autumn tree
forever she’ll return, dressed so elegantly
