Mottled and Mouldy

The rich don't CARE about the poor who many...

Mottled & Mouldy…

Blotched & mildewed,

Are some people’s brains,

There only to fill up space,

In their heads, better they have trains…

Marbled & decaying,

Some people are on every part of their bodies,

Dying from the inside out, on this earth they are not staying,

Think they can take their money with them,

When they die their funerals will be nothing if not a bit of praying…

Dappled and rotting,

Are the rich on this earth, their money burning holes in their mirth,

No fun are they to be around, money grubbing all the time since their birth,

Never will these souls ever have any problems, never will they see dearth,

For their money is overwhelming their souls, they know to the penny, their worth…

Like fruit gone bad, as children they show promise, as adults they sow pain,

Keep all their money to themselves,

Contribute only to what gets them more, they claim,

An empty stomach they never have,

But an empty mind they most certainly possess…

"burning holes in their mirth" You're at it again, dear Ed... weaving truths from that tongue, planted cleverly in your cheek, with bite that stings, amuses and lingers. This is among your most awesome! Brain power at full throttle... wicked and wonderful. Yahoooooooo! katy xox.

Much truth here, Ed, for many of the 'Mighty Ones.' Greed usually results in more Greed, and an unending cycle of More, More, More. How much does any one person really need? If some of the excess could be spread around where it's truly needed, Wow! What a difference it might make.
