Invaded…

It just opened up our roof,

Let the sun and rain come in,

The queen we did try to protect,

It attacked with smelly water stuff first,

I cannot read but the queen called it nine oh four,

She asked how many did die in the initial attack, yes the score,

Maybe ten or twenty, but we did get off one shot at the beasts core,

It jumped back, retreated away, came back with stinky liquid and more…

Sprayed with water, a heavy stream,

We could not fight back, we could hear our comrades scream,

The battle was a surprise raid,

For now it otherwise did fade,

Maybe it won’t be back, our stinger missile did find its mark,

If it came back again, I am afraid we won’t be able to win,

It is so big, with goggles protecting its eyes, I tell you no lies,

If we could we would send out a bunch of flies,

But they would be destroyed too; yes they would find their demise…

The hot sun did drive away this creature; he is hiding in his cold place,

Our missile did strike and left a mark, didn’t kill it, but scared it away,

Or possibly made it more mad, as it is then that it attacked us,

With all that it must have had…

So during the evening we rest, and will be ready for his next attack then,

Hopefully he did not find anyway to kill us all off,

For we wanted to come back and vacation here next year or when,

We found the time to do so, why did it attack, we weren’t bothering it,

This happens a lot, those things they call people, humans, they often do offend…
