Young rockers we were...

Been a long time since thought of these days, but nice to reminisce...ed

Young rockers we were…

Barely were we a teen,

We wanted to make our own scene,

Our voices did crack; you know where that leads,

Around our necks we wore hippie beads…

Played the bass I did for a fling,

Had a drummer and lead,

Only one did sing,

We did everything on a prayer and a wing,

Our music choice bubblegum of sorts,

Each song about three minute shorts…

We had fun, that was our goal,

We tried to sing our hearts out,

We tried to show we had soul,

After our session we did an turn about,

We felt like the stones that did roll,

But our music was that of the chimps,

We tried not to be wimps,

Our sound did give the audience,

A look into ourselves, yes a glimpse…
