circa: July 1958

I would still have him today, If parents did not throw him away, From birth he was mine, He went with me everywhere, for me that was fine�(still is) My grandparents there in the picture, She made the best home-made tapioca pudding, I remember little about my pop-pop, Though he met his end after blowing his top� That picture taken on the old Sea Isle boardwalk, I do remember making pictures on it with chalk, Finding money in the sand after tourist season, It gave us all to put up with the �shoobee�s� a reason�J � ed 11/18/06

3 more months and I will be born...HA! I just had to say that...
This is so cute~ and you look so sweet with your little teddy bear!
We called our grandfather Pop-Pop also! Great memories shared~

Reflective memories that bring to light our treasures. I loved my teddy bear, too, Ed. Had it for nearly 60 years, then the sliverfish got to it.:`(

I too had a teddy bear, his name was Pal....my friend and my constant companion...I don't know why parents throw out the best things, for mine too met the garbage or junk sales...I never did know. I guess they think that when they are worn and covered with stains, a sewn arm, or a limp neck that there job is complete...but I am sure that if I still had him today...he would adorn my other treasured keeps...thank you my friend for this write...I hadn't thought about Pal in many years.
