Endless Summer, Remembered…

Poem Artwork

Following summer round the world,

The greatest waves we once did herald,

Flags of each country unfurled,

Surfed the best & biggest curls…

I wasn’t there, only in spirit,

Too young was I when it was to film put,

Watch on the board where you have your foot,

Big curls, little furls, hot sexy girls, sometimes dark as soot…

Hawaii, Australia, Eastern & Western shore of Africa,

South America’s countries to numerous to mention,

They did not, but we did surf the war torn beaches,

While listening to rock music, the Mothers of Invention…
