The grey house on the right is my childhood home...

Poem Artwork

I want to,

But I can’t,

Times have changed,

People do of me blame…

They don’t know me anymore,

They only remember the past,

They think I couldn’t change,

They are the ones deranged…

I will still keep trying,

While they of me keep lying,

I can’t live there anyway,

Can’t afford to even stay the day…

Ma wants a list of those people who are lying about you; she says she'll take care of it. (You better get her a nice Valentine's Day gift.)

Darlin Edbear... I understand this so well and yet it could be very healing to return, even if it were just to show up and give it the once over, put it to rest so to speak. Besides, there's nothing like being there in glorious 3D as The New Man to change people's addled old minds about the past! I know from personal experience that often what we THINK people are saying about us is a lot different to what they really are... and that actually people might be quite glad to have their antequated views reformed by good news of change! It looks such a glorious place, Ed. Fight the fear of age-old perception and go look the present in the eye! We're right with 'ya! :)) xx

Stark disappointment, a hint of regret, and a dose of defiance...and yes, 'gong back' is tough even if you can do it.
