Why do I feel Remorse...?

Never liked him,
Never would,
Hope the devil,
Uses him for chopping fire wood...

Poem Artwork

Did ya ever just kind of hate someone,

I mean they being assholes & never fun,

Maybe even thought of to them taking a gun,

Away from them did you ever run…?

There was a guy up the block,

He was a hateful guy, always growling & grumbling,

If he did talk to you, all he did was yell,

If off the face of the earth he fell,

No one cared, in fact I might have, off the earth, did of him fling…

Well now he did die, last night sometime,

Found in his trailer with his TV remote in hand,

And of all things, though I hated this crabby bastard,

I am noticing myself feeling some bit of remorse,

Yes, I got to admit I even feel sorry for the old SOB,

I am quite certain he will head to the hot place,

For I am sure he will tell God off right to his face…

Oh my...giggle...I guess we've all encountered this type of person at one point or another...you gotta wonder what happened in his life to make him so bitter...

Have a cousin by marriage just like that. Nothing is good enough for her, no one does anything better than she does. She is perfect. She whines and complains about everything and everyone. No wonder she does not have any friends.

I felt remorse once. But remorse was all clammy and cold like it was already in the grave because some worms were coming out and made it rather uncomfortable as they squiggled underneath my bare hands. You can sure bet that I won't feel remorse again!

What was that you were saying?…

Forgiveness is best, I believe. I think your heart is in the right "place," Ed. Love and peace,

There is always someone who will put a burr in your saddle but in the end you do feel sorry for the old SOB. You have heart.
