“Anniversary”

Today, December 3^rd, a date that will live in love…

Our anniversary, Rene & I,

We re-met through the Internet,

We did not live far apart as we found,

That day, for me, was a turning point.

From living alone to having a family, of sorts,

Not long after, Rene moved in,

To escape the pain of marriage gone bad,

Little did we realize that day,

That both out lives would change.

I am happy now, after 3 years, to say,

Rene & I are still in love,

Soulmates to the end,

Never to sway,

But there was some bending,

Along the line.

But we seem to lend,

To each other, so much strength of will,

And we will do so, ever till…
