Marleshwar fall - India
It is the monsoon setting in
The wind is in a frenzy
Rolling all around
Shaking trees wildly
Shrieking aloud
Pangs of birth the earth does bear
For an arrival at this time of year
It is the coming of sweet showers here
Falling from above, flowing below
All at once scenes like in a play
Change from morn to night
When time is fair and time is dark
Along comes this lofty thundering noisy shower
Painting nature’s face green with one magic stroke
Pounding hard what comes to its fore
Most times ruckus it creates more
But welcome this mighty roar and pour
With open arms at the earthen shores
Take the gallant intruder happily in our hearts
A season of hope, a scent of freshness
The timeless reviver is now in the fold
As nature bathes, gyrates and yields!
