There is  an elephant God Ganapati

Who  loved  the smell of agarbatti ( incence)

So they  put the incence stick

Through day and night on bananas to  stick

And  he smelt  only  of sandalwood agarbatti

There was this shopkeeper called Prajapati

Who   called himself   Heerapati ( Pati means husband)

As he  had a wife  named  Heera

But she only had time for LLord  Krishna like Meera

He  said, then I will bring a Meera  and  call myself Meerapatti!

There is a sweet old lady named Baby

She loves to behave like a kid baby

But when anybody would scold

She would say “You see I am old

Now I will not start learning all from AB”

There is a smart artist whose name is Gary Blankenship

Met him online, requested his friendship

I loved his grins and smiles

He sent across from miles

His comments are  nice ,at times they rock like a ship

There was a young maiden from Pakistan
Who always wanted a wedding band
Her life was so funky
She married a monkey
But now she owns a banana stand.

Welcome back! :)

Beware of Garys burying good tidings, he may not be what he seems.

When I did my latest poor attempt at a limerick, I forgot that they are generally bawdy.

Good to see you posting again. I'm sorry, but I suppose it is the cultural difference, but I was unable to understand any of your limericks.
