Easter Eggs

The Easter eggs are hidden,

Waiting to be found.

My kids so grand and great,

Will be like a chow hound.

They'll be no peace and quite,

Not on Easter day.

The Lord has risen in glory,

What more can I say.

Those kids will soon be coming-

Put all the breakables away.

My dog will bark and growl,

Just to warn those kids to stay.

And when the day is over

And the kids have all gone home.

I'll breathe a sigh and go sit down

And maybe write a poem.

.

What a joy kids are! I saw a 42 pound rabbit on TV. Did he hatch from an Easter egg?
