A tale from days of old.

 A HOT KNIGHT

It was hot inside his suit of armor,

And the knight was starting to roast.

If he didn’t get some fresh air soon,

He was sure he would be toast.

He began punching holes in his suit,

Each hole making a dent.

The knight said he wasn’t mad,

He just needed to vent.

The double meaning of the word “vent” at the end tops this poem off nicely.

This reminds me of a dastardly limitation:
"Once a king, always a king
but once a knight is enough."

Maybe he wasn't a Knight of the night,
who roams in the night,
keeping out of man's sight!

Sounds like a metaphor for how D Trump must be feeling these days. "He just needed to vent." Could be his epitaph. John

What a great bit of poking fun at the knights of old. Gotta love it. And I do!
