WHEN ANIMALS GO TO TOWN
The barnyard animals were hungry,
And the farmer wasn’t around.
So they opened up their gate,
And hoofed it into town.
The animals sang “Old McDonald,”
As they took their little jaunt.
Then they lined up inside,
At the local restaurant.
You could hear them cackle, quack and moo,
Followed by whinnies, grunts and bleats,
As the animals placed their orders,
And then waited in their seats.
Served fresh from the farm,
Were bushels of corn, hay and oats.
And of course there were “kids” meals,
For all the baby goats.
