The sequel to yesterdays poem. This one I wrote for my granddaughter, my grandson'sister.

 HOW DO YOU SPELL ANNOYING

How do I spell annoying?

It’s B. R. O. T. H. E. R.

I’d like to keep him on a shelf,

Tightly sealed in a jar.

He practices on a viola,

But the sounds just irritate.

He wants to play in an orchestra.

It’s his demise I’d like to orchestrate.

Every day he plays,

His stupid video games.

He’s always loud and noisy,

And acts totally lame.

He spends forever in the bathroom,

When he goes number 2.

He forgets to flush the toilet,

And the bathroom smells like poo.

He likes to scare me,

Or make me mad if he can.

Yesterday he dropped a worm,

In the palm of my hand.

That worm went flying.

I ran the other way.

I hate having a brother,

And that’s all I’m gonna say.

Same as the first part.
You can try breaking the metric sometimes in order to make it more flexible

Hilarious. Brothers and sisters are always at it with each other. How true to life and funny as well. John

These poems for your grandchildren are priceless.

I know my sister felt the same way… Still does. ;-)

My partner had eight brothers that she had to put up with. You should hear her stories. She's still deathly afraid of angle worms although she loves fishing.

Bitching and moaning is "sis," much like her brother. Eh, but that is how kids really are for the most part. They will both grow up loving each other.
