The Witch's Bad Hair Day

And you thought your hair looked bad!!

 THE WITCH’S BAD HAIR DAY

The witch was having a “bad” hair day,

It didn’t look like a witch’s should.

Her hair was absolutely gorgeous,

With cute curls that looked really good.

The witch looked in the mirror and frowned.

All she could do was stare.

It was now up to her to undo,

The unwitchlike condition of her hair.

So she cut a rug and cast a spell,

And waved her magic wand.

In an instant her hair turned green,

Instead of that awful blond.

Her hair sprang out in all directions,

Going this way and that.

Those hairs would now stick out just right,

When she wore her witches hat.

The witch was filled with pride.

Now this was a “good” hair day.

And to hold all those strays in place,

She conjured up a can of scare spray.

Your poetry is thoughtful, witty, and just plain old fun to read. How in the world do you think of all this stuff. It seems as though you have no bounds when it comes to word combinations. What a wonderful talent you have.

There is no amount of scare spray that would help me. Lol

It used to turn me off back in the day when young women used bad English to describe their "hairs not behaving." All those split ends from back combing and other bad habits.

I believe it was the Wizard of Oz that set the stage, in color, for the right witch's hairdo.

As usual, great wordplay right down to the last scary spray. Have to give myself some of that hairy spray to curtail that unruly mess in my armpits. ;-)

Fantastic, but now you have to top this one off with another about "The Donald"s bad hair day". Now wouldn't that be something. John

We were talking about the fact that no one is satisfied with how they appear. All kinds of colored hair! Fun stuff!!! Your witch sound like she's really with the times!! 'Enjoyed!

Love ya!
