Sleeping Knights

A royal bedtime tale.
SLEEPING KNIGHTS In the Kingdom of Slumber, We are The Sleeping Knights. Knights who dream of glory, Sleeping soundly through our fights. We doze away the hours. We sleep night and day. We wear our pajamas for armor, As we dream of dragons to slay. We dream of epic battles, And rescuing damsels in distress. Or jousting in tournaments, Displaying skill and finesse. We are the Sleeping Knights. Our clocks have no alarms. We use a feather pillow, For our Coat of Arms. A Do Not Disturb sign, Hangs on our chamber doors. We can rattle the rafters, With our mighty Knightly snores. Please, don’t wake us up, We’re dreaming of battles to be fought. We are the Order of the Sleeping Knights, And I’m Sir Sleeps- A- Lot. You get to dream all the good stuff. As for me, I usually just have knightmares. I yell, moan, and stuff like that, until the damsel lying beside me shakes me back to the world of reality. It's difficult to explain, but I'm aware I'm doing it and cannot stop until someone wakens me out of it. Sounds crazy, doesn't it?

Michael...cute coverup for a bunch of over 60 " old men " who sleep a lot...I know as I am married to one...you guys don't fool me your are fighting dragons etc..you'r sawing logsnd resting your eyes for whatever...nice job you took an excuse to the next level....hahaha

I want some of what you're drinking. My dreams are associated with problems that I have at work and generally result of a circular conundrum of numbers that never end and drives me crazy. Perhaps your knightly battles are like that: repeated over and over but never won. ;-)
