A humorous dancing poem for kids.

 DANCING FEET

I’ve got dancing feet,

I was born to dance.

I can move and groove,

Under any circumstance.

I’ll trip the light fantastic,

And glide across the floor.

I can cut a rug,

And dance right out the door.

I can spin and twirl,

And give my hips a shake.

I’ll put on a tutu,

And do for you Swan Lake.

I can Jitterbug,

And I can do the Twist.

When I get to going,

The Moonwalk is hard to resist.

I’ll dance up a storm,

Like a Twinkle Toes Revue.

I’ll do the Monkey,

When I’m at the zoo.

I’ll do the old soft shoe,

And feel right at home.

I’ll even dance by myself,

When I’m all alone.

I always wear my dancing shoes.

I dance everywhere I go.

I can be fleet of foot,

Or I can dance real slow.

Someday soon you might see me,

Come dancing down your street.

But there’s no time for meet and greet,

‘cause I can’t stop my dancing feet.

I think you have that disease they call, St. Vitus's dance. Better get a look into before you dance yourself to death. ;-)

This is great! I have a friend who has a dance class for the little girls. The next time I see her, I'm going to show her this. This would make a nice little show!

Love ya!
