BOING BOING BOING
Boing-boing-boing.
I’m jumpinging on my bed.
It drives my parents crazy,
And fills them with dread
They’re afraid I’ll hit the ceiling,
And make a hole with my head.
Or by jumping up and down,
Someday I’ll break my bed.
“No jumping on the bed,” they say,
"It’s not a trampoline.”
But as soon as they leave the room,
I revert to a jumping machine.
Well my parent’s fears were justified.
Their predictions proved true .
I hit the ceiling with my head,
And poked a hole clear through.
Then with an aching head,
I landed on my bed.
The frame broke in two,
And my parent’s faces turned red.
Now my jumping days are over,
I don’t jump anymore.
Since I broke my bed,
I’m sleeping on the floor.
