IT’S A FROG'S LIFE
Lily Pond Theater was overflowing with frogs,
It looked like a sea of green.
They were there to see “It’s A Frog's Life,”
On the theater’s silver screen.
Every frog stopped at the snack bar,
And got drinks in frog shaped mugs.
And every frog ordered a big bucket,
Of fresh, hot, and buttered bugs.
With drinks and snacks in hand,
Each frog hopped on a lily pad seat.
They made themselves comfortable,
And stretched out their froggy feet.
When the theater lights were dimmed,
Not a spring peeper was heard.
The tree frogs grew silent,
Not even a bullfrog’s croak occurred.
As the movie started playing,
Even the tadpoles quit fidgeting.
All eyes were on the screen,
Because “It’s A Frog's Life” was ribbitting.
