In another world perhaps
there is not the chaos
lived daily
in times of killers
killing victims because
they were born
unlike them
In another world perhaps
we expect to find
more human beings
willing to stop wanton killers
of women and children
because a mystical deity
commanded them to do so
In another world perhaps
peoples of other cultures
believe that caring gods
cannot approve
human killing for reasons
other than protection
of families and stable government
In another world perhaps
learning and enlightenment
will overrule dogma
dictating annihilation
of human beings
out of hate and fear
of those called infidels

Yes, "in another world perhaps," hopefully in the next one but, definitely not in this one, that's for damn sure! As creative kindhearted as some of mankind is, there will always be those who choose evil. Excellent write.
