Back in the bad old days when much younger,
I learned that strategy is a two edge sword;.
My girl friend and I had a big falling out,
one that stumped me as to how to mend things.
After hearing Frank Sinatra sing some love songs,
quickly I sent to her his, Nice and Easy album,
thinking that after hearing Frankie's heart songs
with titles such as That Old Feeling, and a lush,
You Go To My Head, reinforced with that sweet
version of, Try A Little Tenderness, along with
The Nearness of You, and one that gets them all,
My One and Only Love, that she would call me.
And, she did call me, a few hours later, saying that
she was in love all over, again, with Frank Sinatra!
Young love is fun and not to be taken very seriously . maturity comes when we take the paths togedther or apart...we learn in our own ways at our own paces.
