On a scale of one to ten I always strive for an eleven.
This way, when I wind up with an eight or a nine
I don't feel that a ten got away from me too easily.
It has been much easier to work for myself than
for a n individual as boss to please with my work,
since a lot is lost between instruction and doing it.
The organized work places would succeed better
if greed didn't control from the top executive to
the lowest ranking office and production worker.
Unless workers like their work they are doomed
to belittle it, while thinking success is in another
workplace, never knowing they fool themselves.
Dissatisfaction with one's work is as old as he
who first offered service to another for money.
Realizing this, makes our work more satisfying.
Well said but tyranny and unjustness in the workplace by managemant and owners can cause stress and diillusionment in employees as well.

Bingo, Bill! Right on. I have so many friends who are unhappy in their work, always pushing to upgrade and go somewhere else. At the same time, they are treading the waters of runaway debt. I have been "retired" for two years, but I still work because I love what I am doing. No debt, no greed, no pressure. I excel in my work because I enjoy it. Life in the fast lane is for those who are pushing against the tide. Drowning is a way of life.
