October is a personal month; one of quiet and close-up beauty.
Rare Beauty In Another October
It gives warm days and cool nights in exchanges
delighting everyone who loves friendly October
Losing the green and going to shades of brown
in a month of nature's cool kaleidoscope days
Walking is more brisk in our alertness to enjoy
a pageant of beauty changes in the new whirl
Man-made events and observances are less
acknowledging this month as deeply personal
It is a time for Fall colors indoors and outside
allowing clothing to blend with fallen leaves
Somehow Autumn compliments school students
in returning timely to their earthen work tasks
Synonymous with the Season we prepare to
preserve in cold Winter the promise of Spring
You're on to something here. It does seem like the most inspiring time of year. Something about the pretty colors and the chilly days lends to thought. Great write.

I wonder as we reach October here if its beauty may help to ease the bad brought in September...We do not blame September for its calamity but we are grateful that October arrives to bring new and changing possibilities... Love this piece..

Autumn is such a pretty time of year; it means the heat of summer is over, and I have winter to look forward to! (Now if it would only get cold--and STAY cold--OR snow here in Texas, I'd be happy!!) Very well penned, and the picture is GORgeous!
