Bitter cold weather with
increasing fuel costs of
another fierce winter
brink you back
You are in each patch of
beautiful quilts used
only when we have
readings in the teens
They are quilts of
colors chosen to
blend softly with
warmth in extra cover
It is much like holding
you in our bed again
but with such thoughts
I would never sleep to
dream of you under
the beauty of your hands
giving warmth as did you
